Un oiseaux fréquent sur le lac de Genève, mais il n'en demeure pas moins élégant dans son plumage nuptiale comme illustré sur cette photographie. De plus les parades amoureuses au printemps sont un spectacle touchant lorsque le couple se met face a face en mimant les mouvement du partenaire.
